Quick sky shoot of Jupiter and Orion.

Last week I went out and took a quick shot of Orion and Jupiter in the same sky.

Jupiter is the brightest light near the tree on the letter and Orion is on the right.

I took this with a 16mm fisheye with my canon 500D

Fisheye lens test.

I just got a fisheye lens from russia and thought i would give it a try.

This image was 268 15 second exposures. I like the way that the 16mm on my crop frame camera looks.

The floods have hit my home village and over the Christmas break I went out to take some shots of the floods and also a little bit of astrophotography thrown in :)

First iridium flare.

This was caught by accident while I was doing some shots for a star trail. I'm quite happy I got this as I've never shot one before and to be honest I have no idea how to get one again. :)
